Vendor myopia

Ever work with a vendor that's too stupid to understand the value of NFR copies of their software? I've got one that's been dragging their feet forever on what should have been a no-brainer.

So I suppose the alternative is to go to the competition and help them catch up. I believe the saying "for the want of a nail the battle was lost" certainly applies here.
