Sendmail hack risk

If you're running a server that uses sendmail (most unix-like OSes do) then be SURE to check on this CERT Advisory.

Apparently by sending an e-mail message that's specially formatted it will put your sendmail server at great risk of being hacked. If you're using Exchange or other non-sendmail servers you're safe. If you're using an ISP mail server then it's up to them to get it fixed. Basically if you or your company is using it's own e-mail server and it runs sendmail then you NEED to pay attention to this advisory.

And they claim open source doesn't have security risks...
