Hypocrisy reigns

It seems the Guardian, that bastion of all this good and true (ha!), has gotten it's hands on a translation of a letter from bin Laden.

There's plenty of blame to go 'round in this world but let's point out a few things convenietly left out, shall we?

• Apparently being intelorant of homosexuals and women is alive and well in the muslim community
• The arabs invented alcohol. During their fanatical alchemy quests.
• Usury? Trading with interest? Ever buy a rug from an arab? Feel like you got a fair trade?
• Explotation of women, sure it's better to stuff them in a burqa, right?
• While Franklin said many things, that's not one of them.
• Sharia law, right, the idea that lets religious leaders shoot women in stadiums as an audience spectacle, replete with concession stands.
• Aren't the majority of drug producing nations heavily populated with people following the muslim faith? And selling their wares at usurious rates?
• AIDS, as evil as it is, started in Africa, not the west. Meanwhile who's pouring BILLIONS of dollars into researching a cure for it?
• The Kyoto treaty continues to be about sovereignity not pollution.
• The Rule of Law applies to all people, not just the religiously favored.
• Japan? Ready to negotiate surrender? Uh, no, that's entirely false. But hey, while we're at it, what countries in the Middle East rolled over and gave favor to the Nazis?
• As for Algerian, how about paying thanks to your buddies the French for that clusterfuck?
• When has Israel used WMDs?
• The children in Iraq are suffering at the hands of their own government. Where's the great outpouring of humanitarian aid from the muslim countries?
• Principles and manners? Yet, they don't want justice or fairness to all peoples regardless of their sex, race or religion. Nope, act up and we'll cast you as the blasphemer and shoot you for sport.
• Palestine, what a wretched patch of sand. Where's the outpouring of humanitarian aid from the muslim community? No, just rhetoric and that from counties overflowing with oil wealth.

Just a few facts to keep things straight.
