Never let it be said that people aren't clever. This guy's worked up a way to use partially bad RAM in a linux machine. The idea is to have the kernel 'avoid' the bad portions of the RAM. What a crazy idea! But I suppose it's really not all that different than bad sector mapping on disk drives. I never cease to be amazed by what some folks create.
