Qt and KDE from source
Ever tried compiling Qt and KDE completely from scratch? It's unbelieeeeeevably slow. Granted this is on an geezed out dual P2/333 box. But forgetting to turn on threading and then waiting SIX HOURS to compile Qt really hurts. So sometime around noon Qt (with threading) should be done recompiling. Then I can embark on what's sure to be the equally glacial compilation of KDE.
