About Bill

I provide a range of consulting services and presentations. If you'd like to have a dynamic speaker present to your group on the merits and implementation of XML, RSS, content syndication and related technolgies, please get in touch with me.

Pet peeve: it's spelled K-e-a-r-n-e-y, that's two e's, please. I'm grateful to have been acknowledged in the book but would really have appreciated it having been spelled right. Fortunately, Ben got it right in his book. Both are, of course, must reads for anyone interested in content syndication, the semantic web and RSS.

I'm not given to sharing a tremendous amount of personal details online but here's a few...

I was born May 26th in Washington, DC. A day known for several events in technology, entertainment, literature and the Confederacy. Gotta love the History Channel!. Or as my beach house friends call it, 'the war channel'. I was raised and educated in Baltimore and currently reside in Bethesda, MD.

When my folks adopted me they were told I was shy. Folks that have met me will doubltlessly find that rather odd. But I suppose posting detailed info online brings back the old shyness. Or maybe I'm just trying to avoid creepy stalker types.

If there's something you want to know, by all means ask me. If there's something you already know and think I should post it then tell me.

Smile for the Camera!
As I won a deparment store 'photogenic child' contest.

Contrary to what Stowe might think, I'm actually 33 in this picture

A school picture at 35?
Working for a local private school. I suppose I should dig up the yearbook picture too.

Tanned, rested and ready..

Here at 38. Even with a closeup.

I have a few favorite sayings as well.
