s'no fun
Ah yes, the days of misspent youth. I miss snow storms and bumper rides up to Jerry's Belvedere. When there was enough snow on the ground you'd run up behind a passing car, grab the bumper and make like a water skier. A feat best attempted whilst fueled by alcohol, I suppose. Lately it seems snow removal science has gotten too good at clearing the main thoroughfares. That and whaddya do nowawadays since cars don't even have bumpers you can grab?
The only thing you had to watch out for was crossing big intersections. Most shoes work great for sliding in snow. None seemed all that good at skidding across a dry patch of pavement. The skill of predicting/avoiding the dry patches never did develop for one friend of mine. Slide-slide-slide-skid-errrrrpt-splat! Heh. The resilience of youth and alcohol never seemed to result in us getting hurt. Liquid courage I suppose.
So instead I'm left with clearing a path to the hot tub FIRST and then busting my ass clearing the driveway.
