Who's in charge?
Ask yourself, who's in charge of what you know? Then ask, how do you decide who it is?
We'd like to think we're all in charge of making our own decisions. By and large we probably are. But in many cases we regularly abdicate what we think to something else. What is that something else? How do we decided who or what that is?
Then ask yourself, of the things that you've decided to trust, what vested interest does it have in your remaining loyal to your decision? How does it's knowledge of you affect it's behavior? What does it do differently to assure your decision continues to favor it?
Note, I didn't say trust.
