Bullshit over airwave 'ownership'
David Reed highlights on on-going scam being slowly perpetrated on the public. The scam of airwave ownership. There are no owners of airwave spectrum, there are licensees. The public OWNS the airwaves.
What really ticks me off is how wireless people speak of spectrum as if they owned it. They don't. It OUR damned spectrum and they're merely licensees of it. Should they fail to serve the public's interests they deserve to have those licenses revoked.
This hits the issue squarely:This naked attempt to turn spectrum into private property needs to be opposed now, before we create a very dangerous precedent that will haunt our society for many, many years.
Do not sit idly by expecting the corporations not to try to steal the airwaves out from under you. They've been trying it for decades and are continuing to find new and innovative ways to lie about it.
