In passing
Gregory Peck has died. Talk about an actor with range. Most folks will remember him for his work in To Kill a Mockingbird, of course, but I always like the job he did in this movie. This one too.
I suppose I'm a bit of a sucker for old movies. Anything with a guy stuck in an out-of-sorts situation with a woman jerking him around is sure to be one of my favorites. Like this one too.

I realized when I was posting about his death that I really haven't seen much of his stuff. Off the top of my head, "Roman Holiday" is really the only thing I can remember. It's weird how someone can be a cultural icon even when you don't know that much about him.
