Tanned, rested and ready
Ah, seven glorious days with absolutely no machines. Not even a furtive connection at an internet cafe, although several even offered free wireless. The laptop's out of action for at least two weeks pending repair. And that RAID array failure looks pretty bad, time to ship the drives out to a recovery service.
Now to wrestle with that Inbox and it's 1800+ new messages...
