Thanks go out to Kevin Werbach
I'd like to thank Kevin Werbach for organizing the Supernova conference. The gathering of minds was wonderful. The conversations among the attendees, during parties, in the halls, elevators and in sessions were incredibly valuable. I should also thank Jeff Pulver (that dinner was excellent, thanks for picking up the tab!) and his team of people for their excellent job of managing it.
As electronic communication continues to grow it's sessions like this that reaffirm the value of real face to face conversations. The nuances of physical interaction offer an amazing insight into the real positions and motivations different people bring to the situtations. I'm a big fan of electronic communication, don't get me wrong, but nothing helps cut to the heart of the matter like a face to face meeting.
So, bravo Kevin! Well done. Supernova 2004 is certainly something we'll all look forward to attending.
