RFID for pets?
How about making a device that'd keep a pet out of an area or off a piece of furniture? I'd love to have either a collar or an embedded tag in the pet that would trip up an external sensor. Something that triggered some sort of discouraging noise or something. As in a baby monitor-like device I could put on a chair that would scare the the cat and deter it from getting on it. Or something like a X-10 IR motion sensor that would be able to detect an RFID but only at a very close range, like about 2 feet.
