<mt:body>
Ah, how nice. I've just installed a Dell TrueMobile 1300 card in my Toshiba laptop. Now I can ditch the NetGear PCMCIA card with it's protruding antenna. The laptop's got an antenna built into it's case and the mini-PCI card has connectors for it.

One thing puzzles me, however. The laptop, a Toshiba 1405, has a switch on the side of the case that supposedly allows me to turn on/off the antenna. Trouble is, no amount of flipping the switch seems to affect the connection. It stays connected regardless of toggling the switch. is there some bit of software I'm supposed to install to get it to pay attention to the switch?

Not a big deal as I can just turn the radio off using the system tray icon.
</mt:body>
