Harvard being used as a Spamhaus?
What a hoot! Dave sends me a spam message inviting me to spend $500 to attend a conferernce he's coordinating. The last time I went to a conference at Harvard, and paid for the privilege, Dave shouted obscenties at me from the podium. Now, that was only $250 and it wasn't his show. What'dya think twice the price would get me?
How pitiful, the poor folks at the Berkman center must have had no idea what a mess they were getting themselves into by hiring that idiot. It was bad enough Dave tries playing off the good name of Harvard for his half-baked ideas about RSS. It was likewise horrible to see him, as a keynote speaker, shout "he's an asshole" at a paying attendee. Now Dave's got them sending spam. How much lower can Harvard sink at the hands of Winer's ineptitude? Or will they wise up and fire his ass like Wired did.
