Arnold for Governor

So has anyone starting calling him "the Governator" yet?

I can't wait for the comedians to start applying quotes from his movies to things like budget meetings.

Governator was my first idea for a pun and... http://www.google.de/search?hl=de&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=Governator+schwarzenegger&meta=

The Governator is definitely the right term for Arnold. October 7th is Judgment day for Gray Davis...it's just a matter of time. We have Governator pictures at our site along with a plethora of information about Arnold's candidacy. Anyone mildly interested in his candidacy should check it out. The website is- http://www.arnoldgovernor.net .

Arnold for Governor

If Governor Davis is responsible for the billions of dollars deficit why is Lt. Gov. Bustamante blameless? Bustamante, being the "right hand" of Davis must also be responsible for the mismanagement of the California budget. How about the underlings who recommended the expenditures. Will they also be held blameless? Is this logical? Correct me I am wrong.

It's great that the Armold campaign is based upon the billy bad-ass T-3 propaganda about Arnold Schwarzenegger and all the "Terminator Stuff." Yes, we could use the T-100 to kick some butt, preferably the ones that are resting on their laurels in Sacramento. But, I'd like to bring up a point of interest to the people of California. The T-100 isn't real. Arnold Schwarzenegger is. Everything that Arnold has touched has turned to titanium. He doesn't need this job, He wants it! Governor of the State of California isn't going to make him. He's already made. He cares about the people and about this State as a Whole. He's a real man stepping up to the plate and wanting to do a real job. For this, I'm greatful, and I'll march with him, by his side through the gates of hell if need be. So help me God!

Hmmm, how troubling is it when someone talks about "marching", "gates of Hell" and "so help me God" all at the same time? Be afraid.

It's this sort of blind obedience coupled with religious fervor that, when taken to extremes, has been them blame for quite a few of history's worst times.

As I've said many a time "God, save me from your followers."

Regarding Arnold's suitability for the office, I don't live in California so I can't comment in any locally informed sort of way. What I'll offer is apparently one's track record politically doesn't make a damned bit of difference at the gubernatorial level. What may help California, however, is having someone that's not already a career politician. If just to see the truth behind the circus act and speak against it's isanity. He's nothing to lose by doing so.

The people of California might need to wake up from their political and budgetary fantasy-land. This might be a rude awakening but better sooner than later.

Arnold is the man for the job! He is just like anyone of us, knows real problems of regular people and can differenciate right from wrong. That is the type of governor we need.
