Vision details
Halley's surprise at seeing the world's detail is something I noticed on getting my first eyeglasses way back in '77.
I was just positively astounded to see that trees had leaves. Not just a green lump but made up of so many tiny little bits of individual leaves. Now, I'd known all the while that there were leaves on the trees but on getting glasses they were suddenly brought back into casual focus.
Everytime I go outside with a fresh pair of contacts I still marvel at the leaves on the trees.
