I'm sure this will annoy Charles as it's entirely off-topic.
I partipate in quite a number of mailing lists and one recently ran quite far afield with an inquiry on where to obtain freshly made butter. I'll spare you the thread details but if you ever want to make some of your own, here's how.
Given that Julian Child's alive and now into her nineties, I'm sticking with her advice on using plenty of butter and drinking wine.
