Get on with it already!
I can still remember being a little kid watching us land on the Moon. I was sitting there staring at the old black and white TV wondering why they didn't just jump outta the danged lander and run around. I mean, from a 5 year old kid's perspective, after taking three days to get there you figure they'd be about ready to get the hell outta that tiny little compartment. But nooooooooo, it wasn't until hours later that they opened the hatch and took that "one small step for man..."
Fast foward a few decades and now we've got the Mars Rover also taking it's own damned time. Sure, sure, they want to be careful and all, but the kid in me says they oughta just throttle that bad boy up and have at it!
All this talk about getting caught on the landing airbags, don't these folks watch RobotWars? There's no srimech on it?
