Friends of friends mail
Ugh, I hate orkut's handling of mail from 'friends of friends'. It's not that I'm oppposed to being able to do it. I greatly dislike the fact it omits which friend's relationship allowed the traffic to flow. I wanna know which dweeb 'friend' of mine has got such asshole friends that they spam the fuck out of everyone. (Doubltess Marc Canter is in this loop somewhere)
I'll use other means to encourage said friend of mine to adapt accordingly.
The sooner these SoNets get metadata for describing the relationships, the better. Give me a way to say "yeah, I know this putz but don't read anything else into it" and "don't send me messages unless someone else in the chain vouches you're not a schmuck". I'm sure mail from me would doubtless fail to pass such a filter. But then again I wouldn't use 'friend of' lists to be so f'ing rude.
