Alton doing fine

Now this was a surprise. Apparently Alton's been stretching himself a bit to thin and it caught up with him. Glad to hear he's recovering.

For those of you that don't know who I'm talking about you must not have the Food Network on your cable/satellite service. You have no idea what you're missing. His Good Eats program has become a favorite in this household.

Last night was the second time I've prepared his Silence of the Leg o'Lamb recipe (from the Grill Seekers episode). Darn tasty, even through this time required a fire extinguisher.

Note to self: do not leave lamb on grill while picking Chris up from the Metro and not expect it to not start a grease fire. That and make sure the rotisserie motor gets put back in an easy to find place.

Fortunately the blackened crust succeeded in searing the meat such that it was just absolutely moist, tender and fabulously delicious inside. If you don't have a rotisserie attachment for your grill you do not know what you're missing!

Anyway, here's hoping Alton's recovery goes smoothly!
